When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo (optional). When you post content, we store the text, images, and metadata you provide. We also collect standard usage data such as app version and device type to improve the app experience.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and improve DeckHub. Your email is used for account authentication and important service communications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your posts and profile are visible to other DeckHub users as intended by you.
Content You Post
Photos and posts you share on DeckHub are visible to other users of the app and on the public DeckHub website. You retain ownership of your content. By posting, you grant DeckHub a license to display your content within the app and on our website. You can delete your posts at any time from within the app.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Microsoft Azure cloud services. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using the platform's secure storage.
Third-Party Services
DeckHub may display product listings, recommendations, and links to third-party retailers and marketplaces (such as eBay) as a convenience feature. Some of these links are affiliate links — if you purchase through them, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. These commissions help cover ongoing development, server hosting, and other costs that keep DeckHub running and free to use. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy that governs any interactions on their platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.
Analytics & Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the DeckHub website and app. Google Analytics collects standard usage information such as pages visited, time spent, device type, and general location (country/region). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
On our website, Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising & Ad Interaction Tracking
DeckHub displays ads from sponsors and partners. When you view or click an ad, we record that interaction (an impression or a click) along with which ad was involved and whether the interaction came from the app or our website. This data is used solely to give advertisers aggregate performance statistics — how many people saw or clicked an ad. We never share individual-level interaction data with advertisers.
Registered users: If you are signed in, your account ID is associated with your ad interactions so we can count you as one unique user across sessions, even if you use both the app and the website.
Guest visitors: If you are not signed in, we assign you a randomly generated anonymous device ID (stored in SecureStorage on the app, or as a cookie named dh_device_id on the website). This ID contains no personal information and is used only for deduplicating ad impressions. If you later create an account or sign in, your guest interactions are merged into your account record so you are not counted twice. The anonymous ID is retained for up to one year or until you clear app/browser storage.
You can opt out of ad interaction tracking by disabling cookies in your browser (for the website) or by not using the app while signed out.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below. We will process your request within 30 days.
